Suwon Water Supply Business Division Designated as 'Qualified Organization' in Drinking Water Sector
The Suwon Water Supply Business Division has been designated as a 'qualified organization in the drinking water sector' in the '2015 Proficiency Test Evaluation for Quality Control Management' conducted by the National Institute of Environmental Research for drinking water testing organizations.
The proficiency test for quality control management is conducted annually by the National Institute of Environmental Research in accordance with the 'Environmental Testing and Inspection Act' to evaluate the analytical capabilities of drinking water testing organizations.
The evaluation involves conducting quantitative and qualitative tests on unidentified samples for 19 items in the drinking water sector (heavy metals, ions, carcinogens, microorganisms, etc.) and 3 items in the water source sector (BOD, COD, cyanide), and issuing 'qualified' judgments for organizations meeting the standards.
The Suwon Water Supply Business Division has been consecutively selected as a qualified organization since 2007, when the proficiency test for quality control management was first implemented.
