On Sunday, November 8, the Seoul Metropolitan Area will see increasing cloud cover from the morning, with rain beginning in earnest from late afternoon. For those planning weekend outdoor activities, it is best to take advantage of the morning and early afternoon hours before the rain arrives.
According to Korea Meteorological Administration data, the minimum temperature that morning will be 1~3°C, with daytime highs of 8~9°C. Northeast winds will blow coolly in the morning and evening, lowering the felt temperature, and with daytime highs also falling below 10°C, there will be a cool atmosphere for outdoor activities.
In particular, from 6 PM onward, the precipitation probability will surge to 80%, with rain continuing into the night. Accordingly, weekend outdoor schedules should be completed as much as possible during daytime hours, and a portable umbrella must be brought along for any evening outings.
Weekend Outdoor Activities & Clothing Tips
• Golden Hours for Outdoor Activities: From 9 AM to 3 PM, there will be no rain with cloudy skies maintained, making it suitable for light walks or outdoor exercise.
• Wear Warm Outerwear to Maintain Body Heat: With daytime highs reaching only 8~9°C, one should bring and wear outerwear with excellent thermal properties, such as padding vests or thick jackets, for outdoor activities.
Air Pollution and Outdoor Environment
• Maintaining Clear Air Quality: Fine dust and ultrafine dust concentrations will remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels across all regions, making it easy to engage in outdoor activities while breathing fresh air.
