Suwon Ilbo has welcomed Choi Min (Chairman of the National Association of Political Cartoonists), a leading political cartoonist representing Korea, as a new columnist. Since entering the field of political cartooning in 1987, cartoonist Choi has published works in numerous media outlets including Jungbu Ilbo, Daily Today, IT Daily, Monthly Mal, Cartoon Journal News Toon, and others. In 2013, his work was published in Le Monde, a major French daily newspaper. He currently serializes 'Choi Min's Political Comic Strip' on Minjung's Voice.

He has devoted himself to raising awareness of the social value of political cartoons and establishing the historical legitimacy of Korean cartooning. He led the establishment of 'Political Cartoon Day (June 2),' promoted the installation of a memorial monument at Korea's cartoon birthplace, and spearheaded the Korean Cartoons' 100th Anniversary Project. He serves as representative of the International Forum on Editorial Cartooning (IFEC), the Korean-French Cultural and Arts Forum, and Korea Cartoon for Peace, and also works as an operating committee member of the Bucheon International Comics Festival and chairman of the International Comics Art Festival.

He has also been active in international exchanges. He has signed memoranda of understanding with the French International Editorial Cartoon Salon and the Rennes Legreniča Cultural Center, and has invited overseas figures including the president of the American Editorial Cartoonists Association and Le Monde writers to Korea. Since 2009, he has been invited annually to France's 'International Editorial Cartoon and Humor Salon' as a representative Korean cartoonist.

He is also active as an exhibition curator. Beyond exhibitions including the Saint-Brieuc Municipal Museum in France's 'Peace and Independence Movement on the Korean Peninsula' exhibition and the Nantes 'Korean Wave Cartoon Concert' exhibition, he has presented numerous exhibitions with social messages in Korea such as 'Dokdo Cartoon Journey,' 'Drawing the 4.3 Era,' and 'Universal Basic Income Cartoon.' He has received the Cartoonist of the Year for Political Cartoons, the Lee Do-young Political Cartoon Award, and the 11th Korean Economic and Culture Award. His publications include 'Political Cartoons: Satire, Humor, and Hope.'
