The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Lee So-young) will launch a "Shared Consumption Lottery" event to expand participation in the "Korea Grand Festival," a pan-ministerial national-scale discount event to be held starting on the 29th. The total support scale is 1.7 billion won.

The event carries the slogan "A Maximum Consumption Festival Where Everyone Can Enjoy," with approximately 40,000 companies—a record-breaking number including manufacturers, distributors, service businesses, and small business owners—expected to participate, promising an event more abundant than ever before.

The Shared Consumption Lottery is an event held approximately two weeks before the festival's opening to generate consumer enthusiasm ahead of the Korea Grand Festival. From October 15 to November 15, customers who make cumulative payments of 30,000 won or more using Digital Onurmi at affiliated offline Onurmi gift certificate stores nationwide, including traditional markets and shopping districts, will receive lottery tickets.

Lottery tickets will be issued up to a maximum of 30 per person, with twice as many entry opportunities for transactions in non-metropolitan areas compared to the metropolitan area to stimulate regional consumption. Specifically, one lottery ticket is issued per 30,000 won of cumulative spending in the metropolitan area, while two tickets are issued in non-metropolitan areas.

Citizens can begin participating in the Shared Consumption Lottery from 9 a.m. on October 15. Those wishing to participate should access the Digital Onurmi app and consent to providing personal information for event participation. Lottery tickets will be automatically issued based on the cumulative amount spent through Digital Onurmi during the participation period.

Prize money will be distributed as Digital Onurmi gift certificates, with 30 million won given to each of 10 first-place winners, totaling 1.7 billion won in prize money distributed to 5,600 winners. Notably, to promote consumption in non-metropolitan areas, first-place winners will be selected only from participants holding lottery tickets issued from non-metropolitan consumption.

Second through fourth-place winners will be selected from nationwide participants without regional distinctions, with lottery tickets issued according to payment amounts serving as the basis for the drawing. Multiple winners are not permitted, and winners will be individually notified through the Digital Onurmi app in early December following a fair drawing process. Prize money will be distributed through the Digital Onurmi app in December as Digital Onurmi gift certificates.

The "Korea Grand Festival" is a national-scale discount event that integrated individual consumption events previously promoted by each ministry starting from 2025 to stimulate domestic consumption and promote regional spending. This year's event will be held for 18 days from October 29 to November 15.
