Ansung to Host Glocal Craft Festival Meeting World Craftsmanship Starting on 16th

Ansung City will host the "2026 Ansung Culture Festival Glocal Craft Festival" for three days starting on the 16th along Ansung Stream and the 60s-70s Memory Street area.
The festival will showcase works jointly created by Ansung's craft artisans and international craftspeople. In particular, it plans to introduce "Damascene," a traditional metal inlay craft from Toledo, Spain, and "Talavera Pottery," listed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, conveying the charm of crafts that blend the traditions and techniques of various nations.
During the festival period, popular music performances will enliven autumn evenings. Starting with Lee Seok-hoon on the 16th, Lee Hyun on the 17th, and Jeon Sang-geun on the 18th will take the stage, offering visitors a wealth of attractions.
Along Ansung Stream and the 60s-70s Memory Street area, craft experience programs, craft product sales, and exhibition explanation programs will be operated. Additionally, programs linked with the original downtown commercial areas will be prepared so that visitors can explore not only the festival grounds but also surrounding alleys and shops.
This festival was organized to introduce Ansung's craft culture and traditional crafts from around the world in one place, and to revitalize the original downtown through various cultural events.
