Gyeonggi Province Superintendent of Education An Min-seok held "Visiting Superintendent's Office" town hall meetings on the 20th in Yangpyeong, Yeoju, and Icheon, engaging in dialogue with parents.
Superintendent An explained major policies of the 6th term Gyeonggi Education Transformation, including phone-free schools, RAS Gyeonggi arts and physical education, teacher rights protection, and open recruitment for education directors.
The town hall meetings were held sequentially at Yangpyeong Ihham Campus, Yeoju Gyeonggi Tourism High School, and Icheon Jungri Elementary School. Directors of each district office of education, parents, school principals, Gyeonggi Province assembly members, and municipal and county council members attended.

Regarding commute issues, he introduced the case of 'Paprika' operations in Paju City and said, "Local governments and the education office will cooperate through 'breaking barriers,' and we will introduce safe edu-buses to improve children's commute conditions."
In Yangpyeong, questions were raised about operating overnight field experience learning, student placement and improved commute conditions, and narrowing the educational gap between urban and rural areas.

In Yeoju, discussions were held on improving poor public transportation and commute conditions, policies to resolve educational gaps, and measures to protect teacher rights to promote experiential learning activities.
In Icheon, questions and answers were exchanged on regional education issues including school violence prevention education and conflict resolution, establishment of a new middle school in the Jungri district, and expansion of an attached kindergarten in the Jungri district.
