Yangju City Hall Official O In-seon Receives Commendation from Yangju Police for Drone Search Efforts

O In-seon, a public relations official at Yangju City Hall, received a commendation certificate at the 81st Police Day commemorative ceremony held on the 21st at Yangju Police Station in recognition of her contributions to missing person search operations.

O is a certified drone expert who has consistently used drones in her work, regularly taking promotional photographs of major city hall projects and tourist attractions.

Following a work agreement signed in 2024 between Yangju City and Yangju Police Station to strengthen mutual cooperation, O has continued to conduct missing person searches using drones in the field.

In particular, this year she has used drones at multiple search sites to assist the police's rapid response, and Yangju Police Station recognized her contributions by presenting her with a commendation certificate.

Kim Kyung-ah, head of public relations, said, "Missing person searches are a race against time, and drone-assisted support greatly helps expand search areas and improve efficiency. Going forward, we will continue to cooperate with the police station to establish this as a good example of protecting citizen safety."
