Urban Rest Stop Along the Water's Path… Gwacheon's 'Yeouljjieul' Opens from the 7th

Gwacheon City will open 'Yeouljjieul,' a garden promenade that harmonizes waterways and nature, allowing visitors to experience autumn in all its seasonal beauty, to the public starting from the 7th.
'Yeouljjieul,' developed at 84-6 Byeolyang-dong, Gwacheon City, is an eco-friendly garden promenade that preserves the surrounding natural environment in consideration of ecosystem conservation, making it an ideal place for walking.
The feature of the site is that the walking trail following the waterway and the surrounding green spaces blend together, allowing visitors to appreciate the natural landscape that changes with each season. It is expected to become a new leisure and recreation space within the city.
Yeouljjieul was first presented to citizens through a temporary opening beginning October 31st. The city plans to continue facility maintenance and environmental improvements around the area following the official opening.

Yeouljjieul is open year-round without restrictions, and any citizen is free to visit and enjoy walking and rest.
Gwacheon Mayor Shin Gye-yong stated, "I hope Yeouljjieul will establish itself as a space where nature and people harmonize, and as a comfortable rest area where citizens can relax in their daily lives. Going forward, we will continue to manage the area by balancing ecological environmental preservation with the convenience of citizens."
