Choi Min's Reflections on the World_8 Criticizing the Provincial Government Rather Than Cheongwadae

Governor Choo Mi-ae Should Focus on Gyeonggi Province Rather Than Yeouido
It is worth reflecting on how it will appear to residents when the governor of Gyeonggi Province shows greater interest in voicing opinions on central political issues while facing pressing provincial governance matters.
Gyeonggi Province currently faces financial emergencies and must undertake expenditure restructuring and fiscal structural improvements. Beyond this, there are numerous pending issues to be resolved: expanding transportation infrastructure, stabilizing housing and addressing charter deposit losses, revitalizing the people's livelihoods, welfare and care, and fostering future industries such as AI and semiconductors.
The position of governor of Gyeonggi Province is not that of a commentator on central politics but rather one responsible for the lives and administration of 14 million residents. While voicing opinions on central politics itself is not problematic, what should take priority is the provincial governance achievements that residents can feel in their daily lives.
It is now time for Governor Choo Mi-ae to look more toward Gyeonggi Province rather than Yeouido and to meet the expectations of residents through provincial governance achievements rather than political messages.
