On the 7th, the city held an overseas investment attraction briefing at the Tokyo Palace Hotel, attended by approximately 100 Japanese businesspeople and officials from economic organizations. At the briefing, semiconductor industry trends and business developments between Korea and Japan were shared, and information on Hwaseong Special City's investment environment and the legal and accounting systems applicable to investment in Korea was provided.

Lee Hyang-soon, Director of Business Investment at Hwaseong Special City, introduced the investment environment, stating, "Hwaseong Special City, the core city of Korea's mega semiconductor cluster, is equipped with excellent transportation networks, large-scale industrial complexes, and knowledge industry centers." She also introduced the city's urban environment with job, residential, cultural, leisure, and educational infrastructure as well as various business support policies.

During a visit to the Tokyo Trade Office, the city strengthened its global network through individual meetings with global semiconductor companies including Tokyo Electron and the Japan Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Association.

Additionally, at the headquarters of Tokyo Precision in Japan, the city signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on mutual development regarding the corporate headquarters and demo center being constructed in Hwaseong Special City. Under the agreement, the city will actively cooperate in administrative support including permits, and Tokyo Precision will cooperate in investments for job creation and regional economic development.
