[Suwon Ilbo=Eom In-yong] Guri Urban Corporation has planted diverse seasonal flowers including tulips and pansies at the Guri Topyeong Family Camping Ground to welcome spring and visitors.

The seasonal flower planting was undertaken to provide campers with a more pleasant and beautiful natural environment. Colorful spring flowers were arranged along the main pathways and rest areas of the camping ground, allowing visitors to enjoy the spring atmosphere in nature.

In particular, by creating seasonal landscapes centered on flowers representative of spring such as tulips and pansies, the facility also provided family visitors with the enjoyment of a photo spot.

Meanwhile, Guri Topyeong Family Camping Ground has become an iconic healing space where Guri citizens and the greater Seoul metropolitan area users can enjoy nature in an urban setting. Reservations can be made through the Guri Urban Corporation website.

Earlier, Guri Urban Corporation conducted spring environmental improvements at Geombaek Sports and Cultural Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the 2nd.

The environmental improvements were undertaken to provide citizens with a more pleasant and safe sports facility environment. All center staff participated in conducting maintenance activities both inside and outside the facility.

Key tasks included water cleaning and environmental maintenance of high-traffic areas such as the exterior and parking lot, central staircase, and first-floor lobby. The work focused on improving overall facility cleanliness and enhancing user convenience.

In particular, the maintenance was conducted using in-house personnel without external outsourcing, which was evaluated as an opportunity to achieve budget savings and heighten staff awareness of facility management responsibilities.

Kim Young-do, Executive Director of Guri Urban Corporation, said, "Through this spring environmental improvement, we are pleased to provide citizens with an even cleaner and more pleasant sports facility environment," and added, "Going forward, we will continue to increase citizen satisfaction through sustained facility management and environmental improvements."
