NH Nonghyup Bank Icheon Branch Donates 8,000kg of Rice to Celebrate First Harvest of Season

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] NH Nonghyup Bank Icheon Branch (Branch Manager Kim Kyung-je) and the Icheon City Agricultural Cooperative Committee (Chairperson Kim Chun-seop of Seolseong Agricultural Cooperative) held a "Love Fresh Rice Delivery Ceremony" on the 13th at the Daol Hall in Icheon City Hall to donate 8,000kg of Icheon rice for residents in need and social welfare facilities in the Icheon region.

Attending the event were Mayor Sung Soo-seok of Icheon City, Kim Sung-rok, General Manager of NH Nonghyup Bank's Gyeonggi Region, and agricultural cooperative leaders from the Icheon area.

The donation is part of the community contribution activities being implemented by NH Nonghyup Bank and was organized by NH Nonghyup Bank Icheon Branch to commemorate the first harvest of 2026 Icheon rice.

Branch Manager Kim Kyung-je said, "As a financial institution that grows together with the community, NH Nonghyup Bank consistently practices the value of sharing," and added, "We hope this donation will provide strength to those in difficult circumstances and serve as an opportunity to deliver warmth to our local community."
