Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) has expanded the nearby road from 2 lanes to 4 lanes to reduce traffic congestion around Kimnyangjang Station on the Yongin Light Rail, which had been a source of traffic jams.

This road connecting Kimnyangjang Station to Jungang District Police Box Three-way Intersection had experienced severe congestion due to bottlenecks caused by lane narrowing in front of Kumho Eul-lim Apartments.

Accordingly, the city invested 9.8 billion won in city funds to complete the road expansion project measuring 100 meters in length and 20 meters in width from Kimnyangjang Station to Jungang District Police Box Three-way Intersection, and expects traffic flow to improve considerably.

Starting with the Kimnyangjang Station road expansion project, the city has decided to continuously maintain urban planning roads closely related to residents' daily lives.

A city official stated, "The expansion of the road around Kimnyangjang Station to 4 lanes is expected to greatly improve convenience for citizens," adding "We will continue to promote road projects without disruption and minimize inconvenience to residents."
