"I will listen to business challenges directly," Jang Tae-hwan visits Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation Gunpo branch

Jang Tae-hwan, chair of the Economic and Labor Committee of Gyeonggi Provincial Council (Democratic Party, Uiwang District 2), was appointed as an honorary branch manager at the Gunpo branch of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation (President Si Seok-joong, hereinafter Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee) on the 19th and listened to management difficulties faced by SMEs and small merchants in the Uiwang area.
Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee appointed Chair Jang as an honorary branch manager at the Gunpo branch on that day and held an on-site consultation meeting.
The Gunpo branch is a business office overseeing Uiwang and Gunpo cities, and SMEs and small merchants in the Uiwang area also use credit guarantee consultation and financial support services through this branch.
The consultation meeting was held to identify difficulties experienced by business owners in operating their businesses and to find support measures needed for management stability. The event was attended by Chair Jang and President Si Seok-joong, as well as representatives from SME and small merchant associations and branch managers of local financial institutions.
After receiving briefings on the Gunpo branch's local and operational issues, Chair Jang attended a consultation meeting with SMEs and small merchants to listen to their grievances and suggestions, including declining sales and burdensome cash management. He then exchanged views with Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee and financial institution officials on cooperation plans to reduce financing difficulties. Subsequently, he received an appointment letter from President Si Seok-joong, visited SMEs and small merchants at the branch, and participated in guarantee consultations.
Earlier in September, Chair Jang held policy discussions with the Gyeonggi Province Small Merchants Federation and Gyeonggi Province Merchants Federation on revitalizing consumption and expanding support budgets. At that meeting, he heard requests including expansion of Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee's fund contributions in response to increased loan demand.
Chair Jang stated, "Directly hearing the difficulties faced by business owners is an important starting point for setting the direction of livelihood support policies. I will faithfully reflect the opinions shared in the Uiwang area today in budget deliberations and legislative activities, and the Economic and Labor Committee will unite efforts with Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee to ensure necessary support is provided in a timely manner."
President Si said, "I appreciate Chair Jang Tae-hwan for visiting not only the policy discussion site for small merchant support but also the on-site guarantee consultation. Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee will carefully examine each business owner's situation and cooperate closely with Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Provincial Council to support the management stability of SMEs and small merchants in the Uiwang area and throughout the province."
