Guri Urban Corporation Promotes Safety Culture Among Guri Children Through Subway Safety Experience

[Suwon Ilbo=Reporter Eom In-yong] Guri Urban Corporation (Acting President Kim Young-do) held a subway safety experience program for children in the area at Jangja Lake Park Station on Line 8 on the 13th.

The children's subway safety experience held on the day under the direction of the corporation's Transportation Business Division was attended by 50 children and 4 teachers from 'Yunhee Eco-Friendly Kindergarten' in Guri City. The program was operated as on-site education and hands-on experience covering safety rules necessary for actual station use, including △how to purchase disposable children's transportation cards △safe train boarding methods △evacuation procedures in case of fire.

Acting President Kim Young-do stated, "I hope this safety experience, which was conducted with such great response and interest, will help Guri's children use stations more safely," and added, "Moving forward, the Urban Corporation will continue to serve in fulfillment of social responsibility and citizen happiness."
