Yongin Central Market Night Bazaar Through 18th…Mayor Lee "Central Market Will Transform Remarkably"

The "8th Yongin Central Market Starlight Plaza Night Bazaar," a signature evening festival for traditional markets in Yongin Special City, will run through the 18th.
At the opening ceremony on the evening of the 16th, Yongin Mayor Lee Sang-il cut a ceremonial ribbon and cake, then walked through various sections of the market to greet and interact with citizens. The mayor also sang Lim Young-woong's "My Love Like Starlight" at the venue in response to citizens' requests.
At the opening ceremony, the mayor stated, "We plan to continue supporting Yongin Central Market so it can develop into an even better market," and added, "Over 6.5 billion won in budget for urban regeneration projects in the Yongin Central Market area is being sequentially invested, and we will do our best to ensure that when this project is completed, citizens will say that Yongin Central Market has transformed remarkably."
The mayor then visited the "Gimlyang Festival (Youth Market)" held nearby at Yongin Central Market at the same time.
The Yongin Central Market Starlight Plaza Night Bazaar will run through the 18th from its opening on the 16th, operating from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., with various performances, food vendors, and experience booths offering diverse entertainment.
