Annual 142,000 Won for Menstrual Product Purchase Provided to All Female Teenagers in Yongin

Yongin Special City (Mayor Lee Sang-il) will provide 142,000 won per person to all female teenagers in the region for menstrual product purchases.
The number of female teenagers in Yongin eligible to receive menstrual product purchase support is approximately 46,000, marking a transition from selective assistance to universal support. The city begins accepting applications for the second half of the year from today.
The city will provide a maximum annual support of 142,000 won, based on 11,800 won per month, via the Yongin Y-Pay mobile card, a local currency. However, support will not be provided to those already receiving equivalent assistance through the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's menstrual product voucher support program.
Any female teenager aged 11–18 with a registered address in the city (born between January 1, 2008, and December 31, 2015) is eligible to receive the support. New applicants in this round will receive the full annual support amount at once after November 13 following verification of eligibility.
Applications can be submitted in two ways: online or in person. Online applications are available from October 21 to 30 on 'Gyeonggi Civil Affairs 24' (https://gg24.gg.go.kr), and in-person applications can be made from October 21 to November 13 at the administrative welfare centers in each district, town, or township.
To receive the support, applicants must first download the 'Gyeonggi Local Currency' app on their personal mobile phone and register. Support funds can be used at Yongin Y-Pay affiliated convenience stores in the area (CU, GS25, GS25, Seven Eleven, emart24) or through the menstrual products mall within the 'Delivery Express' app.
