Suwon Supports Rental Deposit Loan Interest for 298 Young Adults and Newlyweds

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will provide 1% interest support on rental deposit loan balances for 298 house-less young adults and newlywed couples.

The city recruited applicants for the "Young Adults and Newlyweds Hope Touch Deposit Interest Support Project" in July and received 422 applications.

Among these, 298 households were selected and notified, including 135 young adult households and 163 newlywed couples that met the support criteria.

The Young Adults and Newlyweds Hope Touch Deposit Interest Support provides annual 1% interest support on loan balances for young adults aged 18-39 who have received rental deposit loans from financial institutions and couples within seven years of marriage registration. Young adults receive up to 500,000 won per year, while newlywed couples receive up to 1 million won.

An official from Suwon City said, "Through the Young Adults and Newlyweds Hope Touch Deposit Interest Support Project, we will support housing stabilization for young adults and newlywed couples to encourage childbirth and childcare."
