First Wedding Held at Gwanggyo History Park… Public Ceremony Venue 'Saebit-tul' Opens

The first wedding ceremony was held at 'Suwon Saebit-tul', a public ceremony venue located in Gwanggyo History Park in Suwon. Weddings were held consecutively on October 31 and November 1.
Suwon Special Metropolitan City operates 'Suwon Saebit-tul', a ceremony venue utilizing public facilities, at four locations in the city. These are Suwon Saebit-tul Gwanggyo (Gwanggyo History Park), Museum (outdoor stage at Suwon Museum), Arboretum (visitor center at Ilyeol Arboretum), and Hwanggung (courtyard of Suwon Traditional Culture Hall).
If at least one member of the engaged couple or their parents resides in Suwon, they can use Suwon Saebit-tul. They can select their preferred venue and date, apply, and then proceed with the ceremony through comprehensive consultation with specialized partner companies.
Suwon City has established a 'public ceremony standard price' allowing couples to select necessary items including ceremony arrangements, floral decoration, meals, and studio photography, dress, and makeup services, with options for both value and basic packages.
Ceremonies are held once per day during spring (March-June) and fall (September-November). Operations utilize weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and closure days of Ilyeol Arboretum according to venue characteristics. Suwon City has been accepting reservations for Suwon Saebit-tul through 'Saebit Talk Talk' since May.
A Suwon City official stated, "We will continue to operate this program so that more engaged couples can reduce the financial burden of their weddings and prepare ceremonies in their desired format."
