Jang Bong-gun's Pen Point Reminiscences My Newspaper Company Story 3

Ddanzi Ilbo, Kim Eo-jun, and the Shadow of Conspiracy TheoriesThe Emergence of Alternative Media and the Bitter Legacy Left by Partisan Press
My Newspaper Company Story 3
My Newspaper Company Story 3 /Jang Bong-gun

I'm not sure if it was the opening ceremony of Ddanzi Ppa, but I went once because my junior colleague Yang Si-ho was working at Ddanzi. Congressman Kim Geun-tae was there too, and Kim Eo-jun seemed arrogant. I saw him a few times later in the Hangyoreh elevator.

Kim Eo-jun took his experience at the "New York Times" from Hangyoreh and launched "Na-kkomsoo (Let's Go Jung Bong-ju)." I heard that because of his lack of basic journalistic mind, he was heavily opposed by the New York Times production team, and Jung Bong-ju had a bad reputation even back then.

Kim Eo-jun supported Hwang Woo-suk, was the originator of election fraud conspiracy theories (there's a photo of Yoon Seok-yeol attending a rally condemning election fraud that Kim Eo-jun had established, but I haven't been able to find it), spread theories of deliberate sinking of the Sewol ferry, appeared with and defended con artist Yoon Ji-oh, privatized public broadcasting to defend Jung Bong-ju, and made enormous profits through numerous conspiracy theories. I sincerely hope he knows when to stop and when to step back.
