Suwon Saebbit-type Kindergarten Customized Public Childcare Model Hosts 10th Suwon Tree Frog Festival

The 10th Suwon Tree Frog Festival with families at Suwon Saebbit-type Kindergarten, a customized public childcare model of Suwon City, was held on the 24th at the Suwon Outdoor Music Hall.

Suwon Saebbit-type Kindergarten teaches children filial piety, character education, and tradition while providing warm and safe childcare, and creates an eco-friendly childcare environment with forests and environmental ecosystems. Currently, 61 kindergartens operate as Suwon Saebbit-type Kindergartens.

Suwon Mayor Lee Jae-jun said at the opening ceremony, "We will create a city where children can grow up healthy and where it is good to raise children. We will make efforts to create a childcare environment where children are happy, educators feel pride, and parents can trust."

Children who attended the festival participated in programs including Saebbit Jangwon Achievement Ceremony, raffle drawings, and shuttlecock kicking. In addition, 30 booths where families could experience Saebbit-type characteristic programs and play zones operated, drawing continuous crowds of visitors.

Approximately 2,000 people, including infants and toddlers at Suwon Saebbit-type Kindergartens, parents, and educators, participated in the festival.
